Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu has highlighted financial services, innovation and technology, and education as the three primary sectors driving the city's future growth. These priorities are set to be featured in Hong Kong's upcoming inaugural five-year development blueprint, as well as the leader's annual policy address. According to Lee, the five-year plan will establish broad strategic goals and development pathways that coordinate with mainland China's 15th five-year plan. Meanwhile, the annual policy address will detail the concrete initiatives designed to implement these overarching strategies.
