The format, which initially featured low-quality concepts like anthropomorphic soap operas, has advanced to deliver realistic visuals resembling live-action filmmaking. In a notable milestone for the entertainment sector, state-owned broadcaster Hunan Satellite Television has aired an adaptation of the classic novel Journey to the West created entirely using generative AI during prime time.
