The Social Justice Department in Kerala is preparing to introduce the Rhythm Virtual Platform to showcase the artistic abilities of differently abled individuals, particularly those with intellectual challenges. Overseen by the State Initiative on Disabilities under the Kerala Social Security Mission, this digital initiative expands upon a state art troupe formed in 2023. The platform aims to decentralize talent discovery and training to district levels, supporting at least 200 participants each year. In addition to aiding rehabilitation and community engagement, the system is designed to provide greater visibility, performance opportunities, and potential income streams by connecting performers with cultural groups, government entities, and the general public. An Expression of Interest has been invited to handle production and digital management.
