This milestone was reached following her recent contribution of forty-two million dollars to Elizabeth City State University. Since 2020, Scott has distributed substantial financial support to various higher education institutions. Her donations are unrestricted, allowing the recipient universities to utilize the funds according to their specific institutional needs. These contributions form part of her broader philanthropic campaign aimed at bolstering educational and community initiatives.
