Iranian military commanders have stated that the country's domestically developed air defense systems successfully countered advanced foreign aircraft during recent hostilities. Brigadier General Alireza Elhami emphasized that technological superiority did not protect hostile forces, noting that Iran upgraded its defense systems during the conflict using local scientific resources. Additionally, Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia asserted that the United States and Israel failed to achieve their strategic objectives, which he claimed included degrading Iran's military capabilities, due to miscalculations regarding Iranian resilience. Meanwhile, the Iranian military reported conducting missile and drone strikes against US military facilities at the Ahmad al-Jaber base in Kuwait and Al Minhad Air Base in the United Arab Emirates, targeting communications infrastructure, radar systems, and aircraft shelters.
