During the second day of the Test match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka, the Bangladesh cricket team was dismissed for a total of 272 runs. Resuming play at 213 for three, the hosts experienced a rapid decline, losing their final seven wickets for only 59 additional runs. The batting order struggled to maintain momentum after the fourth wicket fell at 221. West Indies bowler Jomel Warrican was instrumental in the collapse, securing five wickets for 53 runs, while teammates Bishop and Joseph contributed two wickets each. Despite Litton Das remaining not out on 34, the team failed to build a substantial total. Shoriful Islam was the final player dismissed, concluding the first innings for the home side.
